Review by hotel critic
Nestled amidst tranquil nature, La Cabane Sur L'Eau offers a perfect retreat for those seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our recent stay in this charming houseboat was nothing short of magical-the spacious dock overlooking the peaceful lake invited lazy mornings and serene evenings. With a kitchenette at our disposal, we whipped up a delicious breakfast while soaking in the stunning views from our terrace. What truly made our experience special was the warm welcome from the owners, who treated us with generosity and kindness from the very beginning. Being pet-friendly was a huge bonus for our pups, who reveled in the large garden, perfect for long, leisurely walks. We also loved the proximity to charming spots like Chimay and Rocroi, where we indulged in Belgian specialties and explored local attractions. If you're looking for a getaway that marries cozy accommodations with nature's beauty, La Cabane Sur L'Eau is a slice of paradise that will leave you longing for more. With its perfect blend of comfort, peace, and charm, I can't recommend it enough for couples or small families looking for an intimate escape!
